Get Back to Work with FLIR
Easy to Deploy Thermal Imaging Systems for the Fight Against COVID-19
Many organizations are at risk of continued interruption to operations due to coronarvirus and possible future pandemics. Thermal Imaging solutions from FLIR can help screen frontline employees for elevated body/skin temperature – a possible sign of fighting infection – before they enter crowded workspaces. Organizations that deploy these screening systems can help provide a more safe and secure workplace for a productive workforce.
Maintaining a Front Line with Rapid Screening
FLIR thermal cameras are forming the first line of defense for public health organizations and industries faced with managing the risks associated with a global pandemic.
FLIR Systems, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes technologies that enhance perception and awareness. We bring innovative sensing solutions into daily life through our thermal imaging, visible-light imaging, video analytics, measurement and diagnostic, and advanced threat detection systems.
FLIR offers a diversified portfolio that serves a number of applications in government & defense, industrial, and commercial markets. Not Just Any Camera Will Do
Because thermal imaging cameras can detect and visualize heat, it seems logical to use one in non-contact screenings for elevated skin temperature (EST). But this application isn't appropriate to every camera model or brand.
Thermal cameras that offer temperature measurement as well as a high thermal pixel resolution and accuracy are the best choice. Popular FLIR models like the Exx-Series and T-Series cameras meet these base requirements, but more importantly, also offer a built-in Screening mode designed for EST application.
FLIR T540 Professional Thermal Camera
This handheld thermal imaging camera is one of several FLIR models to offer Screening mode: a built-in feature that detects people with an elevated skin temperature compared against a sampled average temperature value.
Troubleshoot hot spots, find hidden faults, and confirm repairs quickly with the ergonomic, high-resolution FLIR T540. This 161,472 (464 × 348) pixel thermal imaging camera has a bright 4" LCD and a 180° rotating lens platform, so you can easily and comfortably diagnose electrical or mechanical issues, even in hard-to-reach areas. Advanced on-camera measurement tools such as 1-Touch Level/Span, plus laser-assisted autofocus, ensure you’ll record accurate temperature measurements every time. Add the Inspection Route camera option, and you can download and run survey plans to your camera from FLIR Thermal Studio Pro (with with Route Creator plugin). Together these systems will help you record temperature data and imagery in a logical sequence for faster troubleshooting and repair.
